Welcome New Support Staff Employees to School District 51!
Please complete the following steps:
1. Complete new hire paperwork and background check
Follow the link below to download, complete, and print new hire paperwork. Bring your paperwork and any additional documents to Human Resources at 2115 Grand Ave. As a newly hired support staff employee, you may also need to be fingerprinted for background check purposes - Please pick up necessary documentation from Human Resources before being fingerprinted.
2. Obtain your District 51 computer login and email.
Call the Help Desk (254-5175) no sooner than 48 hours after you submit your completed new hire paperwork to Human Resources to receive your district login and password.
3. Ask your supervisor about TimeClock Online, our electronic time-keeping system.
4. Enroll in medical and other available benefits.
If your position includes benefits, you will be asked to complete benefit paperwork when you return your new hire paperwork to Human Resources. Review the benefits website and watch this short video on the benefits available to you through School District 51. To be eligible for benefits, you must complete all benefit paperwork and submit it to HR within <<add date>>
5. Visit the Support Staff Orientation Webpage
View important information about SD51, including our Code of Conduct, Board personnel policies, and evaluation process. Complete the Child Abuse Training to understand your role as a mandatory reporter.
